Specializing in Trauma and Anxiety

Where Nature Meets Nurture

Combining the healing power of the natural world, your nature-made body, and the therapeutic process to help you come back to your true self.

My name is Skye, and I'm glad you're here.

Together we can explore the negative experiences and trauma in you life that have left you feeling stuck, triggered by your relationships, overthinking and anxious, ashamed, emotionally numb, or stuck in patterns of people pleasing.

Once we understand these patterns we can work together inside and outside of session to rebuild your confidence so you can heal deeply and become your most authentic self.

My Approach

I offer EMDR therapy in standard (53+ minute) and extended format (up to 6 hours) as my primary treatment approach. Other therapies that inform my approach include nature-informed therapy, ERP, DBT, IFS, Gestalt therapy, self-compassion & mindfulness, solution-focused, expressive arts, and narrative therapy.

EMDR Therapy

One of the most researched and most effective trauma treatments.

In 8 phases we get to know your story, develop coping strategies, and use your body's natural healing capabilities to reprocess destressing experiences and rewrite your personal narrative to be grounded in reality and support you as you move into your future.

Nature-Informed Therapy

Cultivatings positive impacts on mental health symptoms across the board.

I integrate nature into sessions in my office, outdoors, and encourage you to use nature to support your healing and regulation in your daily life between sessions. Nature becomes a partner on your healing journey. One that you have access to long after you graduate from therapy.

ERP Therapy

Gradual exposure practiced outside of session, so you're always engaged in your healing.

Especially effective for symptoms of anxiety and OCD, ERP allows you to slowly expand your tolerance for discomfort and face even your biggest fears with a gentle and gradual approach.
